Notification

[Puja Vacation and Matters Relating to Academic, Administrative & Exams During That Time]

It is hereby notified for general information that as per the provisional Holiday List (promulgated on ratification by the Governing Body) the College will generally observe Puja Vacation during the time stretch from 19^th October 2020 (Monday) to 23^rd November 2020 (Monday) which however would be subjected to amendment/alteration time to time as and when the Directives/Orders/Advisories and Exam-schedules/Academic-Administrative-programs  from the Govt. of West Bengal (GoWB) and/or the Deptt. of Higher Education, GoWB and/or the affiliating West Bengal State University (WBSU), vis-à-vis the unprecedented COVID-19 situation, are being notified and/or promulgated.

Further to be noted that the pending University (WBSU) examinations would be starting from the 2^nd November 2020 and consequently the College will have to remain open as per concurrent necessity for such purposes starting from 02/11/2020 onwards to discharge allied duties and responsibilities. Also, since there had been considerable loss of class-hours owing to the unprecedented COVID-19 situation, the Online Classes for Semester-III & Semester-V will resume on regular basis starting from the 2^nd November 2020 as per existing schedule and the same will remain in force until further Orders/Directives/Advisories from the competent authorities are being promulgated. All the staff members belonging to both Teaching and Support echelons and the Students are urged to keep vigilant about the University (WBSU) notifications about various exams and academic programs to be placed in the associated website time to time.

It is further notified for all the staff members that in view of the day-to-day regular office work associated with the College and that pertaining to the affiliating University WBSU, the College will have to keep-up concurrent functioning as per necessity under strict compliance of the COVID-19 precautionary measure as set by the Gubernatorial Authorities and cooperation from all are hereby sought in these respects.

All concerned are requested to take note of this notification and pay attention for necessary observance of the stipulations promulgated hereunder. Further, it is urged that in view of the unprecedented COVID-19 situation, all the staff members and other stakeholders do come forward to extend spontaneous cooperation for best up-keep of the interests of the Students, the main stakeholders of the Institution.
