About College Library

The Central library of Taki Government College caters to all categories of in -house members, i.e. teachers, students and the non teaching staff by providing circulation and reading room services . The library has an extensive collection of books numbering to almost one-lakh and covering all subject and courses taught in the college. The bibliographic database of this collection is currently being recorded in a digital format to enable integrated automated service in the foreseeable future.

The college is a member of N-LIST the well-known e-journal consortium service under the aegis of INFLIBNET . In addition to the e-journals provided by N-LIST other hard copy journals are subscribed to as required for teaching research or learning.

The mission of the library is to provide uninterrupted , inclusive service to all users.
